We were excited to partner with Glen Eira City Council to give the dated Hodgson Reserve in Bentleigh a much-needed makeover, building the new space from the ground up.

We demolished the existing playground and undertook extensive earthworks to reshape the space. We then installed a brand-new active play space, including a half-court basketball and netball court, an outdoor table-tennis table, a 10x3metre high rock-climbing wall and a roped climbing area. We also constructed three tiers of recycled red brick terrace seating, a cantilevered roof shelter and planted a mix of native trees, grass and other plants.

The end result? A tactile playground space that children will enjoy today and for many years to come.
